About Humphreys Activity Center

Humphreys Activity Center introduces comprehensive programs about reading, math, music, and art to young students. 
While Humphreys Activity Center focuses on reading, the class will also introduce the basic concepts of math, art, and music. 

From alphabets, sounds, phonics, words, sentences, and books, the children will, in addition, become familiar with letters and books. (Please read the section "Why is early reading important?") 

The books they will read begin very simple and they will later read more complicated materials.
4-6 year old children will start to practice writing, as well. For math studies, the class will start with the basic concept of numbers and counting. It will eventually expand their knowledge to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (for 5-6 year olds).For art and music studies, the children will be exposed and become familiar with classical music and artists. They will listen to a piece of classical music, which will be followed by a short explanation of the composer. This will let children become familiar with music. 

They will study famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh and his works, which will be shown in class, along with many other classic painters. Humphreys Activity Center truly believes that all children are limitless.
