Reading will take some time. It starts with alphabets, sounds, phonics, sentences, and then books. I truly believe children are limitless. However, each child has their own speed. Some may read earlier, some may read later, but everyone will reach the summit eventually, with Humphreys Activity Center.

At 12-24 months old

They will be getting familiar with letters, working on alphabets very slowly. It is more about exposing alphabets to infants. Singing and playing with alphabets and numbers, made them familiar with alphabets, sounds and phonics.

At 2-3 years old

They will be getting ready to read, working on alphabets, sound, phonics, and preparing to read words. Getting familiar with numbers.

At 3-4 years old

They will be getting ready to read, working on alphabets, sound, phonics, and preparing to read words. Getting familiar with counting numbers, music and art.

At 4-5 years old

They will be getting ready to read, working on alphabets, sound, phonics, and preparing to read words. Getting familiar with counting numbers, music and art.

At 5-6 years old

They will be comfortable in reading and basic steps of math, such as addition and subtraction. They will start to read sentences in books

In the Reading Experts class

With no more than 5 students in a class, there will be children of any age. Students who exceed their reading level will enter this special class, and will focus on reading and math. This class will challenge students' level and push them to a higher level than they are at. Again, I strongly believe children are limitless!
